Cabs with climate controls include roof-mounted vents and rotary switches to adjust temperature and fan speed.

Description:

Several cab enclosure options are available for use on Posi-Track models. There are not sealed, airtight cab enclosures. Cab configurations available are:

Cab without climate controls (illustration above);
Cab with heat (see below);
Cab with heat and air conditioning (see photos on left).

The cab enclosure (see illustration above) includes 1/4-inch thick clear polycarbonate panels (A) that cover the door, roof and sides of the operator compartment. The door panel (B) is mounted on a steel rail (C) and slides up and locks over the operator seat for access / egress or when extra ventilation is desired. (The door panel and rail system can be ordered separately). Wipers are also available for the door panel and windscreen (rear). Wipers are standard on cabs that include climate controls.

The climate-controlled cab can include either heat-only or both heat and air-conditioning. The air-conditioned cab includes a roof-mount unit made of thick sheet metal to help protect against brush damage. The air-conditioning compressor adds 8.5 inches to the overall height of the machine (91 inches with A/C).
