100 Series
Family Description The 100 Series is a range of two, three and four cylinder diesel engines, fully proven in the agricultural equipment sector. Previously Made in Japan for Perkins by ISM, the demand for 100 Series engines has been such that from 1996 they will also be produced in Peterborough by Perkins Shibaura Engines Ltd, a joint venture company within the Perkins Group. 1300 Series Family Description Two swept volumes in a common profile, the new 1300 Series engines are Perkins' response to market demands for greater productivity and lower running costs in the mid-range sector. The 1300 Series is an all turbocharged range with air to air intercooling at 186kW and above.
