The new generation of Perkins 1000 Series now easily satisfies stage 1 off-highway emissions regulations worldwide.  Inheriting all that made earlier generations benchmarks, the new range provides a seamless change over from its predecessors, while adding even more benefits for both current and new customers.

This new turbocharged aftercooled 4-cylinder diesel offers 6-cylinder type performance from an incredibly compact package.  It is specifically targeted at agricultural, construction or general industrial equipment, where demands are highest and space is at a premium.

• With over 7.5 million 4 and 6 liter predecessors sold, the New 1000 Series has an excellent pedigree of reliability.  Now a completely new cylinder head, a higher efficiency cooling system, stronger structure, total containment of fluids and gases, and better starting at even lower temperatures makes this engine the new benchmark of reliability.

  Durable Power

• Building on the proven reputation of the original 1000 Series, this new generation is designed to give at least 12,000 productive hours service life—an increase of 50 per cent—before needing a basic overhaul.

Clean and Quiet Power

• Specifically designed to satisfy stage 1 off-highway emissions legislation around the world, the New 1000 Series engines go further for the operator and the environment by also operating free from visible smoke throughout their operational speed range.  They’re cleaner and quieter too.  Previously acknowledged as one of the quietest engines available, the new range is now up to 3 dBA quieter than before

  Cost Efficient Power

• With a near identical profile and similar hook-up points, the New 1000 Series engines will provide a seamless change over to emissions compliant product.  For the use, stage 1 emissions have been met without compromising the previously excellent economy.

Easy Low Cost Maintenance

• Increased service intervals to 500 hours for oil and filters.
