MF® 6400
Series
Hydraulics
MAKE THE CHOICE YOU WANT
FOR THE HYDRAULICS YOU NEED.
| In addition to the reliability and
capacity you demand from a tractor's hydraulics, the MF 6400 Series
gives you the advantage of being able to select from three different
systems. That means you can match your tractor to your exact
hydraulic requirements and still get high flow for linkage and other
functions. Three hydraulic remotes, two manual valves, power beyond
circuit, and a load sensing line are all standard. Every MF 6400 Series tractor offers impressive lifting power plus simple, precise control of the most complex equipment, regardless of which hydraulic system you choose. Start with open center, then dual flow (twin flow) and finish with close center hydraulic system. The open center hydraulic system is capable of supplying 15 gallons per minute at the remotes. The dual pumps send high pressure oil (2900 psi) for the steering, remotes, and 3-point hitch, while additional flow goes to the PTO clutch, PFA, differential lock and transmission. Twin FlowTM option uses two gear pumps that combine to deliver a high flow of 26 gallons per minute and the power to match. Its load-sensing operating mode assures consistent pressure for optimum control and performance. |
A closed center, pressure and flow
compensated hydraulic system offers a maximum flow of 29 gallons per
minute for simultaneous handling of multiple functions. It features
an axial piston pump that supplies high pressure oil (2900 psi) for
the steering, remotes and 3-point hitch. A low pressure divider
valve sends oil to the PTO clutch, PFA, differential lock and
transmission. When there's no demand for high pressure oil, the
system automatically goes back to a low pressure standby mode. Another valuable option on the MF 6400 Series tractors is factory installed front hydraulics with the same output as the rear remote valves. An industry-leading 29 gallons per minute and 2900 psi put out plenty of power for implements ranging from mowers to snow blowers. The Remote Valve Management System (RMS) is an option for maximum hydraulic operating convenience. Featuring a joystick that's mounted to the seat armrest and controls two electro-hydraulic proportional spool valves, it can be combined with up to three additional mechanical remotes to build a 5-remote valve system. With RMS, a memory function can be added to memorize and set the output and input flow rate of each electric spool valve, giving you precise control of an implement's drop rate. The RMS system can also replace a loader joystick system. |
![]() Monitor lights on the cab console will let you know when the hydraulic system of your MF 6400 series tractor needs service. When maintenance is necessary, a spin-on hydraulic oil filter makes it easy.
|
![]() Hooking up equipment is faster and simpler than ever, thanks to hydraulic couplings that angle outward and let you connect and disconnect implements under pressure, a valve cage that allows good access, and valves spaced far enough apart to give you ample leverage - even when you're wearing gloves. |
