When it comes to reliability and capacity you demand from a tractor's hydraulic system, the MF 5400 Series is designed to come through. Its dual pump, open center system is capable of supplying 15 gallons per minute to the remotes. The dual pumps send high-pressure oil (2900-psi) for the steering, remotes, and 3-point hitch, while additional flow goes to the PTO clutch, PFA, differential lock and transmission.

Two hydraulic remotes and two manual valves are standard. What's more, you have the option of adding additional remote valves for a total of four. Another valuable option on the MF 5400 Series tractors is factory installed front hydraulics, with the same output as rear remote valves, for implements ranging from mowers to snow blowers.

Monitor lights on the cab console will let you know when the hydraulic system of your MF 5400 series tractor needs service. When maintenance is necessary, a spin-on hydraulic oil filter makes it easy.

Hooking up equipment is faster and easy, thanks to hydraulic couplings, a valve cage that allows good access, and valves spaced far enough apart to give you ample leverage-even when you're wearing gloves.
