A unique long-stroke design develops high torque at low engine rpm. This "torque backup" gives you added lugging power to start heavy loads, and pull through difficult conditions, without having to constantly change gears. As a result, you are more productive, there is less stress on driveline components and the operator, and you can cover more acres with every tank of fuel.

The block features extensive internal ribbing to strengthen the engine while maintaining flat exterior surfaces to reduce noise and minimize places where dirt can collect and cause overheating.

A large radiator and low combustion pressures also contribute to engines that run cool under heavy loads, even on the hottest days. Cool engine temperatures also mean less oil breakdown, better lubrication, longer engine life, and  higher fuel efficiency.

Innovative Fastram^TM combustion system

The unique geometry of the Fastram piston face creates areas of intense micro and macro turbulence during the compression stroke. When the fuel is injected, it burns much faster. As a result, the injection timing can be set closer to top-dead-center to reduce peak pressures and temperatures, resulting in more power, lower emission, and quieter operation.
