Move up to a large chassis Massey Ferguson 1400 Series tractor, and you move into a wide range of choices. The large chassis lineup includes models with 3- or 4-cylinder diesels, Value Models and Deluxe Models. Regardless of which one you select, you’ll have a dependable Massey Ferguson tractor that’s ideal for larger acreage, bigger implements and all kinds of farming and landscaping jobs.

THREE MODELS OF 4-CYLINDER COMPACTS

If you’re ready for a tractor with a 4 cylinder diesel engine, the MF 1400 Series gives you three great ways to go.

The 44.2 hp MF 1445 is equipped with a PowerShuttle or Hydrostatic transmission.

Our 55.3 hp Deluxe Model MF 1455 comes standard with a PowerShuttle transmission.

In the Value Model, the 55.3 hp MF 1455v offers you a choice of 2WD or 4WD, both featuring a standard Synchro-Shuttle transmission.

FIVE DIFFERENT 3-CYLINDER MODELS

There’s a large chassis MF 1400 model with a 3-cylinder diesel to fit your horsepower needs and your budget.

The 28.4 hp MF 1429 is available with either a Synchro-Shuttle or PowerShuttle transmission.

Two Deluxe Models, the 33 hp MF1433 and 40.1 hp MF1440 let you select a Synchro-Shuttle, PowerShuttle or Hydrostatic transmission.

Two Value Models, the 33 hp 1433V and 40.1 hp 1440V, offer a standard Synchro-Shuttle transmission plus an affordable price.

TILT THINGS IN YOUR FAVOR. A 3-position tilt steering column gives your tractor a custom fit and makes entry or exit easier on Models 1429, 1433, 1440, 1445 and 1455.	PLENTY OF EXTRA FOOT ROOM. Suspended pendulum pedals create extra room for your feet and operate with surprisingly little pressure.	LOW PROFILE ON DEMAND. The axle-mounted folding ROPS on most models is your ticket to negotiating low branches or parking in an ordinary garage.
SIT BACK AND ENJOY THE RIDE. Large Chassis Model tractors have a hi-back seat that’s fully adjustable for the most comfort in their class.	STOPPING POWER YOU CAN COUNT ON. Multi-disc wet brakes are standard on every large chassis model.	PUTTING PRECISION ON YOUR SIDE. For fine adjustments, the high capacity, Cat. 1 standard 3-point hitch gives you precise position and response control. Draft control is standard on models MF 1445 and MF 1455.
WE’D NEVER STEER YOU WRONG. Nearly effortless power steering is standard on MF 1400 large chassis tractors.	TELESCOPING LOWER LINKS. Telescopic link ends, which make attaching implements to the 3-point hitch faster and easier, are standard on the MF1429, MF1433, MF1440, MF1445 and MF1455.
