When you need a little more power than a small chassis model can provide, Massey Ferguson 1400 Series mid-chassis tractors give you a lot of advantages. It all begins with offering you a choice between the 28.4 hp MF1428v or the 33 hp MF1431.

The 1428v is one of our Value Models, which means it combines mid-chassis power and features with an affordable price tag. With the 1428v, you can opt for a simple, dependable gear transmission or the no-clutch shifting of hydrostatic drive. Move up to the MF 1431, and a hydrostatic transmission is standard.

Either mid-chassis model can handle a wide variety of attachments. In fact, depending on the attachment, you can experience the efficiency of using an implement that’s up to 5 or 6 feet (1,524 or 1,829 mm) wide.

MF 1400 Series mid-chassis tractors feature a flat deck platform for plenty of clutter-free legroom.

IT’S GREAT TO FEEL IN CONTROL. The high capacity Cat. 1 standard 3-point hitch gives you precise position and response control for fine adjustments and works with a variety of implements.	THE COMFORT OF CRUISING ALONG. Hydrostatic transmission (standard on the MF 1431 and optional on MF1428V) offers the comfort of cruise control.	GOOD LOOKS MADE TO LAST. Radiator and front end dents or damage are all but eliminated by the steel hard-nose design.
STEP UP TO 4-WHEEL DRIVE. Choose a 4WD model (optional on the MF 1428v), and go where you want under all kinds of conditions.	PREPARE TO IMPROVE YOUR VISION. A sloping hood ensures excellent visibility, especially with attachments.	EVERYDAY MAINTENANCE IN EASY REACH. Hood side panels remove for easy access to service parts.
STEER CLEAR OF EXTRA WORK. Whether your mid-chassis tractor has gear or hydrostatic transmission, hydrostatic power steering is included.	MAKE EVERY STOP A SURE ONE. Both mid-chassis models have multi-disc wet brakes.
