BUILT IN THE HEARTLAND

Massey Ferguson combines are designed and built in the heartland – in Hesston, Kansas – a facility of AGCO Corporation. All totaled, the facility encompasses approximately 1.3 million square feet (.1 million m2) of office and manufacturing space on 347 acres (140 hc), including a 120,000-square-foot (11,148 m2) plant devoted specifically to combine manufacturing. The birth of a combine doesn’t stop there, as AGCO has devoted significant space to an extensive engineering and test center.

Perhaps the greatest asset in our Hesston facility is far more than a great location. It’s the people. The Hesston community has long been known for its strong work ethic and honest principles. Many of the employees live on farms or were raised on a farm. So, they understand farm equipment, how it’s expected to perform, and for whom it’s built –you.

Hesston employees work to build machines as if they or someone they know will own and use it. And that’s good for you.

With more than 110 state-of-the-art major machine tools, a new paint system, and efficient practices, the Hesston facility has a rigid quality management system and is a registered ISO 9001 factory as certified by the Quality Management Institute. It is a reflection of our commitment to building quality combines that last –for years, not just hours. And that’s something for which we are most proud.
